Our biggest ticket-clearing week yet: 34 updates shipped and 205 customer-reported issues resolved. Here's everything, in plain English.
📊 The Week in Numbers
- 34 updates shipped to production
- 205 support tickets resolved — nearly triple last week
- The single largest fix closed 25 tickets at once (Gmail labels), and another closed 30 (honest "done" messages)
✉️ Email Got Much More Powerful
- Gmail labels — Sabi can now create labels and organize your inbox into them, including labeling, moving, or archiving hundreds of emails in one go. This was our most-requested fix (25 tickets), led by one customer's 330-email cleanup that had been stuck.
- Yahoo Mail is now supported — six customers asked; you can now connect Yahoo and have Sabi read, search, send, and clean up your Yahoo inbox.
- iCloud Mail works for everyone again — deleting mail was failing, some accounts were wrongly marked "unavailable," and there was no way to file mail into folders. All three are fixed, and Sabi can now move messages into any named folder.
🤝 Sabi Is More Honest About What Got Done
- No more "done!" when it isn't — the most damaging problem on our board: long writing jobs (Google Docs, Sheets, Notion, slides) sometimes got cut off partway and Sabi reported success anyway. 30 tickets from 18 customers. Sabi now tells you exactly what was finished and what wasn't.
- Always a reply — busy runs sometimes ended with "I hit an internal limit" even though the work was actually complete. Sabi now always saves room to answer you.
- Long Notion pages actually get written — a smarter model now handles big documents, so full-length Notion pages land instead of silently failing.
📸 Photos Just Work Now
- iPhone HEIC photos are supported — photos straight from an iPhone were failing on both web chat and iMessage. They now work everywhere.
- Mislabeled images no longer get rejected — a photo whose file type didn't match its contents used to bounce; now Sabi reads what's actually there.
- Faster, cleaner image generation — when a photo-realistic request is blocked by the AI provider's content filter, Sabi stops retrying for minutes and tells you right away, with a clearer explanation.
🔌 Connections
- Oura Ring — connecting was impossible after Oura retired their old token system; it now connects with a standard one-click sign-in.
- Your account, your data only — chat, memories, and Library content are now locked strictly to the signed-in person, and texted sign-in links are single-use and expire after 15 minutes, so a forwarded link can never open someone else's account.
🗑️ Leave Anytime, Take Your Data
- Download your data and delete your account yourself from the new Account page — a full erase across everything, with a confirmation text and email. Deleted or inactive customers no longer receive any broadcast messages.
💳 Billing & Referrals
- Referral guests get the Founder offer too — friends invited on a free month can now take the Founding Member deal, with the unused part of their free month credited at checkout.
- Refunds are visible — billing history now shows "Refunded" instead of "Paid."
💬 Chat & Community
- Chat fixed on older Safari — the web chat was crashing for some Safari users; fixed (along with a follow-up scroll issue).
- Community posts show up again — member posts in the Community tab were sinking behind older posts; they now appear in the feed by recency, and ~105 past posts were restored to their rightful place.
- Sign up from the login page — visitors without an account now see a clear "Sign up" link.
🌐 meetsabi.com Moved Home
- The marketing website now lives inside the Sabi app itself — same look, same content, but it sets the stage for new SEO pages, a blog, and a page for every connection.
🛡️ Reliability Behind the Scenes
- Self-healing servers — twice, a stuck server sat frozen for hours until someone restarted it by hand. Servers now detect a freeze, capture what caused it, and restart themselves within about 3 minutes.
- Nightly memory cleanup no longer freezes the app — the overnight job now shares the CPU politely with live customer traffic.
- Faster deploys — a slimmer build process means new updates reach you several minutes sooner.
- Less alert noise, more real signal — a handful of small fixes so the team's alerts reflect genuine problems, not browser extensions, email link scanners, or repeated warnings.
Questions or something not working the way you'd expect? Just tell Sabi — every piece of feedback lands on our board and gets looked at quickly.
