Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Inovo Studios, LLC · 6339 Charlotte Pike #738, Nashville, TN 37209
Effective Date: October 13, 2026
This policy covers consumer health data that Sabi (meetsabi.com, app.meetsabi.com, and the Sabi iPhone app) collects, including under Washington's My Health My Data Act.
Health data we collect and why
- Apple Health data, only if you allow it in the Sabi iPhone app: steps, distance for workouts, active energy, workouts, sleep (including sleep stages), heart rate (daily average, minimum, and maximum), resting heart rate, heart rate variability, body weight, and nutrition (energy, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and water).
- Nutrition estimates (energy, protein, carbohydrates, and fat) that Sabi makes from meal photos you text, which Sabi writes to Apple Health when you ask.
- Health information you choose to tell Sabi in messages, and what Sabi saves to its memory about it.
- Health information Sabi infers from the data above to answer you.
- We use this data only to answer your questions and requests and to keep your Apple Health app up to date with meals you log. We never sell it and never use it for advertising.
Where it comes from
- You: the messages and meal photos you send Sabi.
- Your iPhone's Apple Health app, after you give permission in the Sabi app and in iOS.
- Sabi itself, when it infers information from the data above.
Health data we share, and with whom
- We share the categories above only with the service providers that process it for us to answer you:
- AI model providers that generate Sabi's replies and search: Anthropic, xAI (through Vercel AI Gateway), and OpenAI.
- Hosting and database providers that store it: DigitalOcean and Supabase.
- We do not share health data with affiliates, advertisers, or data brokers, and we do not sell it.
Your consent
- In the Sabi iPhone app, we ask for your consent to collect Apple Health data and, separately, your consent to share it with the AI providers named above. Nothing is uploaded until you agree to both and allow access in iOS.
- You can withdraw consent at any time: turn off Health access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health, which stops new uploads, and ask us to delete what we hold.
Your rights and how to use them
- Confirm whether we collect or share your health data, and get a copy of it along with a list of every third party we shared it with.
- Withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing of your health data.
- Delete your health data. We delete it from our records. You can also delete your whole account yourself with Delete my Sabi account in the iPhone app or on your account page.
- To make a request, email [email protected] or use meetsabi.com/support with "Health Data Request" in the subject. We verify your identity, then respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we tell you why and take up to 45 more days.
- If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject. We answer appeals in writing within 45 days. If your appeal is denied, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov.
