Our busiest week ever: 119 updates shipped and 139 customer-reported issues resolved. Here's everything, in plain English.

    📊 The Week in Numbers

    • 119 updates shipped to production
    • 139 support tickets resolved
    • The single largest fix stopped scheduled tasks from going silent — it had hit 215 runs for 55 customers in the previous month

⏰ Scheduled Tasks Finish What They Start

    • Scheduled tasks no longer go silent — a long daily task that hit its time limit used to just vanish, with nothing sent to you (215 runs for 55 customers in a month). Sabi now watches the clock, wraps up before the limit, and sends what she found with a plain note about anything she couldn't get to — instead of a useless "I couldn't finish that one".
    • "Every time an email like this comes in, do this" — Sabi can now set that up as a standing job. She checks about hourly, handles each new one, and only pings you when something happens.
    • Scheduled emails follow one simple rule — if your task sends an email, it sends on schedule. If you've asked Sabi to check with you first, she texts you the ready email and waits for your "send it".
    • Small things that now behave — "skip today's reminder" really skips it; a task created in a group chat reports back to that group; ClickUp briefs use your local dates; the phantom "Heads up: I didn't finish all of that" line is gone from complete answers; and Sabi says plainly that she can only text you, not someone else's phone.

    📅 Calendars

    • iCloud subscribed calendars now count — calendars you subscribe to (not just your own), plus moved and repeating events, show up when you ask what's on or whether two calls clash.
    • Meetings already under way are seen — movement-break and similar reminders check what's happening right now, including meetings that started earlier, so they stay quiet while you're busy.
    • Fewer wrong times — Google calendars you've turned off no longer count as conflicts, and "1pm EST" stays 1 PM Eastern instead of shifting an hour during daylight time.

    ✉️ Email & Approvals

    • "Go ahead" means go ahead — when Sabi shows you a draft and asks whether to send, "yes", "go ahead", "sounds good, send it" and "let's go" all count as your OK. Some of those used to be read as "not yet" — one customer said "send it" four times and the email stayed blocked. A question or a "not yet" is still not a yes.
    • Your "ask me first" rule, done right — it now covers iCloud, Yahoo and other inboxes the same as Gmail and Outlook, and emailing yourself is never held as an "outside recipient".
    • Drafts and big searches behave — "send it" on a saved draft sends that draft (no copy left in Drafts, nothing goes out twice), and large Gmail searches finish instead of stopping halfway.

🤝 Sabi Is More Honest About What She Did

    • She remembers what she already did, and tries before saying "I can't" — one customer's meeting was removed and then reported as "couldn't find it"; another was told OneDrive files can't be moved when they can. Retried jobs now know what already happened, and Sabi checks what a connected app can do before saying no.
    • Over-eager safety checks removed — one was cutting items out of lists and inventing reminder questions; one swapped every answer for "I couldn't reach that app"; one rewrote honest "saved as a draft, nothing was sent" into a false "yes, sent". All gone.
    • Long documents land in full, voice memos get a second try — long Google Docs writes were cut off partway; an unreadable voice memo used to stop the conversation. Both fixed — Sabi converts the memo and retries, or asks you to resend.
    • Ask Sabi "what's new?" — she now answers from these weekly posts instead of guessing. And "forget that" works even for a memory that had replaced older versions of the same fact.

    🔌 Connections

    • More than one of the same app — several QuickBooks companies on one account (ask by name: "P&L for Harbor Bakery"), a working link for a second Gmail or HighLevel account, and multiple Instagram accounts.
    • Spreadsheets, files and stores read right — Google Sheets rows land under your table's header and long columns no longer crowd out rows; Drive folders are found by link; Airtable duplicate checks and deletes go through; Shopify product and order lists come back instead of "Not Found".
    • Fewer wrong turns — Mailchimp never sends a stale template campaign; Follow Up Boss and other CRMs go to the right place instead of a HighLevel link; connecting on your phone works (no blocked pop-up); Vocci connects; and your own custom tool server (MCP) now receives the fields it asks for.
    • Coming soon: ChatGPT and TikTok — the groundwork shipped this week for using Sabi from inside ChatGPT with a simple sign-in (no keys to paste), and a TikTok connection is on the way. We'll let you know the moment each is live.

📸 Library, Photos & Web Chat

    • Pick several photos, upload them all — each one uploads on its own so one bad file doesn't sink the batch, you can download selected files, and web chat takes up to 10 photos in a message. Big uploads get a clear message (10 MB photos; documents up to 25 MB now go through).
    • Small fixes — tap a Library thumbnail to open the full photo, and a message sent right after Sabi's reply no longer briefly vanishes.

📱 Sabi for iPhone & Signing In

    • Reply notifications arrive — on the iPhone app, pushes went to the wrong device after a reinstall, and pressing Home meant no push at all. Both fixed, with a notifications switch in settings.
    • The right account, the right chat — phone-number login no longer opens an empty duplicate account (nothing was lost), and scheduled texts stop hopping back to an old SMS number instead of your iMessage thread.

    👥 Community

    • Your real name on posts, and the tab opens for everyone — posts were showing an email prefix like "info"; your community name now follows your account settings the moment you save (and never downgrades a full name). 14 recent sign-ups who got an error opening Community are fixed.

    🛡️ Reliability Behind the Scenes

    • Updates go live once a night — releases used to deploy 15–26 times a day, and each could interrupt a scheduled run mid-flight (195 runs in four days). Updates now ship once, around midnight Central, when nothing is running.
    • A backup when an AI provider stumbles — one provider had a bad day (about a third of requests failing). Sabi now switches to a backup automatically instead of failing your request.
    • Trust, visibly — a public status page at status.meetsabi.com, a security page with a way to report a vulnerability, two-step verification on every staff account, a full security audit under way, dozens of library security patches, and Google Tag Manager/Analytics and two ad trackers removed from meetsabi.com.

Questions or something not working the way you'd expect? Just tell Sabi — every piece of feedback lands on our board and gets looked at quickly.
